Bio

Becky Friedman recently completed her PhD at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a dissertation titled “‘The Badge of All Our Tribe’: Contradictions of Jewish Representation on the English Renaissance Stage.” Her research examines the language and embodied performance of Jewishness in early modern drama.
