Each year, the Katz Center organizes talks, panels, concerts, and other programs for the public, some on Penn’s campus, others in the community around Philadelphia. Many are partnerships with institutional neighbors like the National Museum of American Jewish History, the Athenaeum of Philadelphia, and local synagogues. The Center also occasionally offers adult education programs with leading scholars, and a new “Create Your Own Program” initiative offers organizations the opportunity to plan their own events, with some help from the Center and interested fellows.
A newly initiated Friends of the Katz Center allows members of the public even more learning opportunities while giving them a way to support scholars and new research.
