Bio

Amy Gutmann served as President of the University of Pennsylvania from 2004–2022, and went on to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Germany from 2022–2024 under President Biden. She currently serves as the Christopher H. Browne Distinguished Professor of Political Science in the School of Arts and Sciences and Professor of Communication, at the Annenberg School for Communication.
