Bio

Shlomo Zuckier a scholar of ancient Judaism, with interests in rabbinic literature, biblical interpretation, and ritual theory. His research considers shifting understandings of sacrifice in the Second Temple, early Christian, and rabbinic literature and related issues such as the conceptions of atonement, divine happiness, will, and worship.

Zuckier is completing his dissertation at Yale University and is teaching at Yale Divinity School in the fall.
