Bio

Piero Capelli is Associate Professor of Hebrew Language and Literature at the University of Venice. His current research projects include medieval polemic literature and a study of the Greek sources of Nahmanides’ medical knowledge. This year, Capelli prepares a critical edition of R. Yehiel of Paris’s account of the trial against the Talmud (1240).
