Bio

Edward Waysband is an adjunct lecturer at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and teaches at Shalem Academic College. He was a visiting researcher at the University of Toronto, the University of Caen-Normandy, the Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies, Polish Institute of Advanced Studies in Warsaw, the New Europe College – Institute for Advanced Study in Bucharest, and the Centre for Advanced Study Sofia. His primary research and teaching interests lie at the intersection of modernism, postcolonial studies, comparative literature, Russian and East European literature, and Jewish studies. He serves on the editorial board of the journal Partial Answers and on the advisory board of Word and Text.

Waysband received his Ph.D. from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
