Rebecca Davis is the author of More Perfect Unions: The American Search for Marital Bliss (Harvard, 2010); co-editor of Heterosexual Histories (NYU Press, 2021); and of two forthcoming books, Public Confessions: The Religious Conversions that Changed American Politics (UNC Press, est. 2021) and Sex in America (Liveright, est. 2023). She is a producer and story editor for the Sexing History podcast and a research associate for the Council on Contemporary Families.
