Advanced Summer School for Graduate Students in Jewish Studies

The Katz Center and the Mandel School for Advanced Studies in the Humanities at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem offer an annual week-long intensive course for graduate students. Each year, the course addresses a new special topic in Jewish studies, bringing together an international group of students and faculty with special interests in that topic.

This collaborative program, co-directed by Steven Weitzman (Katz Center) and Elisheva Baumgarten (Hebrew University), takes place in Philadelphia and Jerusalem in alternate years.

The 2018 school, "Out of This World: The Supernatural in Jewish History and Culture," will take place in Philadelphia June 24–28, 2018. For more information and to apply, click here.
