Zalman Rothschild earned a B.A. in Judaic Studies from Binghamton University, an M.A. in Jewish Philosophy from Yeshiva University, and a Ph.D. in Modern Jewish Thought from New York University. Zalman was a Tikvah Scholar at the Tikvah Center for Law and Jewish Civilization at New York University School of Law and a fellow at the Center for Jewish Law and Contemporary Civilization at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He served as Scholar-in-Residence at Park Avenue Synagogue in Manhattan. From 2016 to 2017, Zalman was the inaugural Julis-Rabinowitz Fellow at Harvard Law School and served as a teaching fellow in American Political Thought at Harvard College.
