Keren Dotan is an editor at Kav Adom Books, part of Hakibbutz Hameuchad, Sifriat Poalim Publishing House. She was previously a member of the editorial staff at Mitaam, a literary quarterly, and before that, served as editor and head of the financial desk at Ha’aretz. Her research focuses on modern Mizrahi literature, with a special emphasis on secularism in the beginning of the 20th century.

Dotan received her PhD from the Department of Hebrew and Judaic Studies at New York University and her LLB from Tel Aviv University. She continues to write for Ha’aretz as well as for Israel Hayom, Mitaam, Maariv, ynet, and Makor Rishon.
