Iranian Jews in the Twentieth Century: Between Iranian Nationalism, Communism, and Zionism

In the early 20th century, the Iranian Jewish communities were largely disenfranchised, marginalized, and impoverished. By the 1979 revolution, that situation radically changed. In this talk, Dr. Sternfeld explores the history of Iranian Jewish society in a time of great upheaval and social change.
